July’s 4th Friday Gallery Walk:
Our thanks goes out to the Ste. Genevieve Winery for a great night!
That was so much fun. Elaine, the wine maker of Ste. Genevieve Winery, was a perfect match to our gallery. We had allot of people, most from out of town, enjoyed going to all the galleries sipping wine while looking at all the different and unique art.
We will have three new artist on display for the gallery walk.
Nancy & Nina both do jewelry. Nancy works in fusion glass and sterling silver. Nina works with gem stones and sterling silver. The photo below doesn’t compare to seeing the jewelry in person.
Fusion Glass by Elyse Hawks of St. Peters.
She also one of our new artist.

WE’RE UNIQUE
We offer classes for all age groups in both the visual and performing arts.
SAFETY COMES FIRST
We run background checks on all our instructors.
DIRECTIONS TO THE CENTER
Meeting space available at the Center for the Arts
The Center for the Arts is now offering space where nonprofit groups and artists can hold meetings and work on projects.
The meeting space is on the second floor of the center (117 N. Main St.) and includes three rooms, a bathroom and two sinks.
The great thing about these rooms is that they are designed to handle the messiest art projects, so both children and adults can come in and have fun without the worry of getting the place dirty, especially with the holidays coming up. The meeting space offers a wonderful place to meet to make holiday crafts and such.
The Center for the Arts is offering the entire upstairs space to any nonprofit group for only $5 an hour, making it affordable for most groups, including boy and girl scouts troops.
Artist also are welcome to rent space individually or as a group.
For hours available, or more information, call the center at 573-880-2026 or e-mail us at stegenarts@gmail.com.
